Last night I watched Frontline with Kamran Shahid & right at the outset, I want to say that I’m really ashamed of Pakistanis. I have a particular segment in my mind who have this holier than thou attitude. They think they have the right to judge anyone on this planet & they are the best. Besides being judgmental, they have no problem calling someone shameless, Non-Muslim & a threat to Islam. It’s okay to kill anyone they can’t stand.

The host Kamran Shahid was neutral & he didn’t make any scene at all. Mufti sahab turned out to be a hypocrite. He only listens to people & he has no problem in passing judgment. Veena Malik has been the target, cause she’s a woman in a male oriented society.

There are few questions: first of all, how come anyone becomes a threat to Islam? I think Islam can easily take care of itself. Does Islam belong to just few selected people? What do they mean by a kiss? Is pecking or hugging such a big deal? Why throwing dirt on a person such a fun hobby? Why judging someone else’s faith is the business of people?

It’s difficult for me to stay neutral & I’m, by all means, on Veena Malik’s side. What I find weird is that people were mum when she was on the show. When she was evicted, they went off their head. In fact, the frenzy continues, cause some people have nothing better to do. It’s true that a particular segment has this problem. I think they are jealous of her.

I still think that Veena was an embarrassment & I did crack some jokes on her, but that was in good humor. That mufti sahab was blabbing about some photos. I wonder what he had in his mind. He said that Veena won’t be able to watch those photos with her son & father. And then he said that he hasn’t seen anything, but he has heard everything from people & people are very mad at Veena’s behavior. People even called him from India. Nobody is supposed to judge her. Even if they think she’s guilty, who are they to attack her like vultures? God can take care of everything. Whatever it is, it’s between God & that particular person.

I also don’t think people have the right to call her slut. Why don’t they reflect upon their own lives? They may find themselves more guilty than anyone else.

Moreover, everything happens on TV these days. Pakistani dramas are really cheap. We all have seen models & actresses & how they dress up. I do not know what the hell these people are talking about. They may not be having serious sex & kisses in the real sense on TV, but other than that, everything happens.

Veena said lots of things in retaliation & I’m glad she did that. These maulanas rape their own students; all sorts of things happen in Pakistan. Nobody is an angel. It’s not just college students, even school kids indulge in all kinds of activities. It’s just that you can’t see that on TV. If a governor supports any helpless woman, he is murdered in broad day light. On top of it, these closed minds & fanatics keep on threatening everyone. When pregnant women are killed by their own families, they prefer to keep quiet. No one is bothered about infants who are killed on a daily basis.

If everyone is so noble & pure, how come we don’t see any love & affection on their faces? We do not want to support another person. We just want to demoralize & degrade that person. Is this what we call ethics?

Veena Malik supports her family. She looks after 6 siblings. No one mentions that, because they just want women to work & then they wait for an opportunity to attack her. I think it’s commendable on her part to say things on national TV yesterday. She’s really a bold person. And I totally agree with her that she hasn’t done anything that was never done before.

Sameer Soni has been evicted from the 'Bigg Boss 4' house, and he was quite surprised when his name was announced by host Salman Khan. Sameer had been hoping that he would stay on till the very end, but the votes weren't in his favour.

Sameer, who had been one of the calmest members in the 'Bigg Boss' house this season, except for a run-in with Dolly Bindra, said goodbye to the remaining contestants before leaving.

Sameer's was the final elimination in the house. The winner of 'Bigg Boss 4' will be chosen out of the remaining four participants - Ashmit Patel, Shweta Tiwari, The Great Khali and Dolly Bindra.

This was indeed surprising for all of us. But last week, Sameer Soni was badmouthing like anything, which was not required. I think Khali jee is the only deserving candidate, but Shweta, Ashmit & Dolly have innumerable fans. Yesterday Salman Khan even mentioned Hrishant & by far he was the best house mate, but he was evicted even before Seema jee, Sara, Manoj & Veena Malik. I think it would be hilarious if abusive Dolly Bindra wins.

This is indeed a very apt expression for being thrown out, but I must say that she did stay in the house for too long & now people are not enjoying the show anymore.

Salman Khan certianly looks more beautiful than these 3 women.
I think Vidya looks fine when she dresses fine.
Veena Malik doesn't seem to miss any opportunity of giving these looks. Anyway, Salman Khan looked really cool on that day.
I think it was more fun to watch the real thing on TV.

Veena Malik's intimacy with Ashmit Patel in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house set the TRPs soaring, but it wasn't enough for her as the controversial Pakistani beauty says she wanted to be more naughty on the reality show, but decided otherwise.

"Ash-mit is a sweetheart. He's my buddy. If there was anything more between us, I'm bold enough to admit it. But there's nothing beyond friendship between us," Veena, who is single and is waiting for her prince charming, said.

"Trust me, I wanted to do a lot of mischievous things on 'Bigg Boss'. But I restrained myself. I never thought of a Bollywood career. It will be a matter of great pride for me if anyone will think I fit in among the Indian beauties. Pamela Anderson told me I'm a warrior. So I'd like to do an action-comedy role in Bollywood," she added.

When asked about her future plans she said, "Please believe me, I did't go on 'Bigg Boss' for the money. The prize money is meaningless to me. I am a woman of plenty. I came to India and 'Bigg Boss' to spread the message of love. It was being said before me that artistes from across the border had no acceptance or support in India. I've disproved that. I'll always be happy to return to India any time. My visa expires now in a few days. So I've to return to Pakistan. But I'll be back soon."

The interesting thing is that people in Pakistan are talking about Veena now that she has left the show. Also, it is silly how Meera said that Veena destroyed our national image, when she herself has no character of her own with her own set of controversies. Some maulvis also feel Veena is nothing but a threat to religion after what she did on Bigg Boss. Funny how they were so quiet before...rather dumb and blind it seems. And suddenly everybody here are criticizing her.

The fact is, Bigg Boss house is now quite boring after our lady left :P

Aakhri Salaam of Veena Malik was again full of drama but this woman knows how to entertain & believe it or not, people mostly go for cheap kind of entertainment. Not much is left in the house. Sara, Hrishant, Anjal & Veena – all the people you enjoyed watching are gone. No one likes to watch the fat & abusive Dolly jee, crazy Ashmit, weird Shweta, & biased Samir Soni. I guess Khali jee is the only person who seems a bit normal amongst the abnormal.

It was alleged that Veena Malik was self-obsessed & she herself claims that she’s very beautiful & she can have any man in the world. In the footage, she seemed nothing short of mad. She even started crying when she was called self-obsessed. She also regards herself as intelligent & sexy. I know very few people who can be truly called self-obsessed & I don’t think Veena Malik is one of them. Yeah people do like to watch themselves in the mirror. But Veena is a very ordinary looking woman & yeah she can have any man in the world, cause men usually go for ordinary things.

Over here, the clerics are mad at Veena for her obscene acts in the house. She was once even caught kissing Ashmit. As usual the clergy accused Veena of posing a threat to Islam. This is one argument that I could never comprehend. If a person is loose, how come he/she becomes a threat to the religion? Religion is much above petty humans.

The funny thing is that Veena Malik openly said that she was just friends with Ashmit & when she would fall in love with anyone, she’s going to be quite open about it. She even said that she flirted with Salman Khan on a number of occasions, but Salman Khan said that he never noticed. She even flirted with Big Boss, cause she did find his devilish voice quite sexy. In the beginning, she was in love with Hrishant, when he left the house, she became physical with Ashmit, but now Ashmit is just a friend. Even Salman Khan thought it was something serious.

However, Samir Soni had been quite mean & biased. Even when Veena left the house, he couldn’t help badmouthing about her. We agree Veena is mad, & mad people do mad things & if you are normal, you can ignore that.

Veena Malik has been a major source of embarrassment. She never seemed genuine. One cannot stand her fake behaviour without losing cool, however. And last but not least, Meera jee said & I quote, ‘Veena Malik eik ghatia larki hai.’ Well we don’t think Meera jee is any different from Veena Malik.

Well my sister has already reported this news :P So I will write down further.

Even when I read earlier reports of how Rani hardly interacted with Vidya during the shoot and that she was unapproachable throughout the shooting, I thought, this movie would be quickly made as nobody is wasting anytime doing silly things. The photographs from the earlier promotions showed a bit of coldness as well, but with time it was evident that the actresses became closer while promoting the film more. What is worth praising is their professionalism, because the ladies have promoted their film whole heartedly with complete honesty believing in their film and its subject totally.

Last night I saw the two having lots of fun while promoting No One Killed Jessica in Bigg Boss. They seemed comfortable with no hang ups. Even if there was a discomfort, most probably because of Rani's cold attitude, it is no longer visible now. Since, the two ladies praised each other genuinely and had a great time together.
